1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, work the same way. We use them to keep you signed in, to remember your preferences, and — only with your consent — to understand how the site is used.

2. Categories we use

• Strictly necessary — required for the site and sign-in to work. These cannot be switched off.
• Preference — remember choices such as your cookie consent.
• Analytics (optional) — help us understand aggregate usage; loaded only with your consent.
• Third-party (Stripe) — set by our payment provider on the checkout step for fraud prevention; necessary to take payment securely.

3. Cookies and storage we set

• adria_session — strictly necessary. Keeps you signed in. Holds only a random, opaque token (no personal data), is httpOnly, and expires 30 days after sign-in or when you sign out. First-party.
• adria_consent — preference/necessary. Stores your cookie choice (“all” or “essential”) so we don't ask again. Lasts 180 days; the same value is also kept in your browser's local storage. First-party.
• Analytics cookies — optional. Set only if you choose “Accept all”. If you reject non-essential cookies, none are set, and no analytics provider runs until consent is given.
• __stripe_mid / __stripe_sid — set by Stripe when the payment form loads, to detect and prevent fraud. Third-party; __stripe_mid lasts about one year and __stripe_sid about 30 minutes.

4. Your choices and consent

On your first visit a banner lets you choose “Accept all” or “Reject non-essential”. Strictly necessary cookies are always set because the site cannot work without them; everything optional stays off until you accept.

You can change your mind at any time: clear the adria_consent cookie and your site data in your browser, then reload the page to see the banner again. You can also block or delete cookies entirely in your browser settings, though doing so may stop you from signing in.

5. Browser signals

Because we never set non-essential cookies without explicit consent, we treat a “reject” choice and the absence of consent the same way: only strictly necessary cookies are used.
