Every quarter, data is collected, cleaned, standardised and transformed into interactive market intelligence.
We collect data on vehicles that are advertised and purchased across six automotive markets.
The consumer-market dataset is complemented by B2B data. This captures activity that is not always visible in public listings and helps identify changes that may appear first in either the B2B or B2C market.
Each quarterly edition analyses approximately 1 million records.
The dataset covers 6 countries, more than 40 brands, more than 1000 models and vehicles across different fuel types, segments, price ranges and age groups.
Where available, we distinguish between advertised vehicles and completed purchases, and also new and used vehicles.
Incoming records are checked for missing, inconsistent or duplicate information. Vehicles are then standardised by country, brand, model, derivative, segment, fuel type, vehicle age, mileage and price.
B2B and B2C data are analysed together. This prevents one channel from masking changes in the other and makes it possible to identify when professional-market activity is leading or lagging consumer-market developments.
Source data is collected daily and the complete dataset is refreshed every quarter.
